Could a healthy and safe workforce positively contribute to a company’s overall performance? I’ll be presenting the latest from UL’s Integrated Health & Safety Institute (IHSI), during tomorrow’s webinar hosted by the National Business Group on Health (NGBH).
IHSI recently sponsored a study published in the January issue of the Journal of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (JOEM) that found a correlation between a healthy and safe workforce and a company’s positive stock market performance.
As more companies around the world are working to integrate their health and safety programming, UL’s IHSI, is providing the tools and research necessary to attain this goal. Among other information, IHSI has published a standard to provide guidance for organizations to operationalize integrated health and safety programming, and created an Integrated Health and Safety Index for organizations to measure the effectiveness of their integrated health and safety strategies.
Join me tomorrow at noon Eastern Daylight Time for more information about the benefits of integrating health and safety programming and tools to create this integration in your organization.
