New OSHA Construction Confined Space Standard: What it is and how it impacts you

OSHA released the long-anticipated Confined Space Standard for Construction, which will take effect August 3rd, 2015. However, OSHA released an update on July 8th, 2015 stating that they will postpone full enforcement of the new standard for 60 days from the effective date of August 3rd,2015 to October 2nd, 2015.

Given the new standard’s complexity, organizations should not wait to review the changes. The new OSHA standard will affect every workplace that performs confined space entries.

Our expert presenters, Gary Clevenger MS, CSP, CRIS, RRE, and Matthew Crouse CSP, CHMM, discussed the New OSHA Construction Confined Space Standard, explaining the impact it will have and how to satisfy the new mandates.
